During the Holocaust in Białystok, nineteen Jewish painters were forced to work in a factoring making paintings for a Nazi officer who was lining his pockets with the sales.
None of them survived the war.
This story was considered a legend because there was never any proof.
No one knows what happened to the paintings.
Until, one surfaced in my city.
And suddenly a myth is made real thanks to a Prince.
